1955 Chevrolet 3100 ( 2nd Series) Task Force Pick-up Truck – Deluxe Cab
We think the truck was manufactured at the GM plant in Van Nuys, California. Our truck is the 114.0 in wheelbase step-side “Deluxe” cab featuring the large wrap around rear window.
Our truck features a 1957 Grill and has upgrades to the drivetrain and suspension. Under the hood is a Chevrolet small block 350 engine mated to a TH350 transmission.
The suspension is from a 1968 Camaro (front clip and GM car 12 bolt out back).
Interior has a few bumps and bruises over the years but has an updated seat from the third row of a 2007-2014 Chevrolet Suburban – giving us a three seat bench with integrated 3-point seatbelts tied into the frame.
Everything in life is somewhere else, and you can get there in a car.
